ArtsX – 2024
Throughout the semester, I collaborated
with Namie Edge and Kate McNerney
to designand implement comprehensive branding and marketing materials for the BGSU School of Art’s annual ArtsX event. Our team developed a unified logo and visual identity systemthat effectively promoted the collaborative spirit of the arts across multiple disciplines, ensuring a consistent and engaging presence across all event communications.

BFA Thesis –
For my senior thesis project to present at the BFA Exhibition, I decided to focus on theproblems regarding glass waste. As a glass artist, I saw the issues residing in our community when it comes to glass waste. Over the span of 7 months, I was able to take glass bottles that were once going to be thrown in the trash, and upcycle them into beautiful new forms. These forms are functional and made of 100% glass waste. Throughout the trials and tribulations of my thesis project, I was able to successfully upcycle over 300lbs of glass.

transformed
glass work

From start to finish, we transformed recycled glass bottles into refined, handcrafted pieces. Whether preserving existing forms or melting the glass to create entirely new shapes, each stage of the process reflected precision, creativity, and a deep respect for the material. Through skilled craftsmanship and a commitment
to sustainable practices, we turned waste into lasting works of art.
